GivingBackGIVING BACK

The GIVING BACK Program engages skills-based volunteers, associate volunteers, community service volunteers, corporate groups, undergraduate interns and graduate level interns to successfully deliver the organization’s mission. As a Service Enterprise certified by the Points of Light Foundation, Northwest Compass volunteers supported the delivery of more than 35,000 units of service in fiscal year 2016.

Our Vision is that our volunteers will use their passion, skills, and knowledge to be a seamless extension of our portfolio of services and will become our best advocates and ambassadors of our Brand and Mission.

We Offer Internships!

Northwest Compass offers a comprehensive BSW/MSW and Administrative Internship program including doctoral level Supervision (one hour per week) and professional staff in daily assignments and client staffings. Evaluations are performed and submitted by doctoral level Supervision.

We currently collaborate with Loyola University, Dominican University, Northeastern University, University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), Aurora University and Harper College.

First level interns can serve 450 hours per school year (2 semesters) and second level MSW Interns serve 600 hours. MSW/MBA Interns serve 900 hours per school year.
